• Regular admissions are done in the University Departments for M.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Zoology.
• Two research projects funded by DBT and Ministry of Food Processing Industries were sanctioned to conduct research in Food Science and Technology.
• Two student research projects have been sanctioned by the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology to the Department of Zoology during 2006-2007.
• Faculties of University Departments have published many research articles in reputed journals.
• Faculties of the University Departments have also participated in many national and international Seminars/ Conferences/ Workshops and presented research papers.
